About Austin Hall, DPM

Austin Hall, DPM, is board-qualified in foot and ankle surgery with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He provides expert care to patients at Louisville Foot and Ankle Specialists, with offices in Louisville, Leitchfield, Elizabethtown, Shepherdsville, Fern Creek, and Jeffersonville, Kentucky.

Dr. Hall was born in San Jose, California, and lived on the West Coast for the majority of his life. Before pursuing the medical field, he played baseball at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 2013 MLB draft. 

Following his professional baseball career, Dr. Hall received his medical degree from Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California. He then moved to Louisville in 2018 and completed his surgical training at Norton Healthcare. Given Dr. Hall's athletic background, he has a special interest in sports medicine.

Dr. Hall's training was extensive in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery, including trauma, complex reconstruction, revision surgery, elective forefoot and rearfoot procedures, and wound care. He prides himself on staying current on emerging techniques in order to get patients on their feet as quickly as possible. 

In his free time, Dr. Hall enjoys playing golf and spending time outside with his family. He and his wife have three children and are very active in their community.
